Neil Hancock

When Neil was asked if he had any other interests/hobbies beyond Karting he replied quite simply, ‘family, work, karting, but not necessarily in that order’!!!

Neil has been a registered driver of the 210 Challenge since 2006. He largely blames his wife Gill for his introduction to the 210’s (now that’s got to be a first!!!) as she was working with the partner of a current driver at the time. John Morrish and Neil met for a pint, within weeks an outfit had been purchased and he’s never looked back. In fact Neil is so keen and enthusiastic it wasn’t long before he held a position on the Steering Group and is a very valuable member.

Neil thanks John and his son Taylor for all their help and support. Taylor has grown up with the 210’s since he learnt to walk and more recently has attended all the rounds as his ace mechanic. He has shown great flare and will be dipping his toe into racing next year as one of our youngest Novices to date.

Neils racing career now spans 17 years and for 10 of those he’s achieved a seeded number. His best being seeded no. 4. He’s now looking to improve that for next year.
