Mark Shepheard
Mark gets as much enjoyment out of tinkering in the garage with his kart and his bike.
Mark Shepheard Mark registered with the Challenge as a Novice in 2021. He joined as he was looking to replace track days on his bike wanting to aim for a motorsport which he could achieve a result. He has now rekindled the initial interest from his Father David Shepheard who raced in 1991-1993.
His partner Claire was the driving force in sourcing His partner Claire was the driving force in sourcing his outfit. He freely admits none of what he does would be possible without her continued support, help and enthusiasm. This was rightly noted and celebrated as she was awarded 2021 210 Challenge ‘Woman of the Year’.
Mark still enjoys his track days with friends, when possible but Karting has since taken over!! Both Mark and Claire are very much at home within the 210 family!
Mark has achieved some good results and great battles on track in 2021 aboard his well-maintained outfit, his aim for 2022 is to be more self-sufficient in the pits and to finish higher up the leader board.
